On March 20, 2008, Dr. Dennis Stolle, a trial consultant and the president of ThemeVision LLC, was interviewed on WIBC radio’s morning news. Dr. Stolle commented on the IndianaViews survey, conducted in March 2008 by ThemeVision LLC and JEM Research, Inc. Among other topics, the March 2008 IndianaViews survey polled 400 Indiana residents about whether they believe most Hoosiers are ready for an African-American president or a female president. The scientific survey, with a sampling margin of error of +/-5 percent, found that 57 percent of Indiana residents said "yes," they believe most Hoosiers are ready for an African-American president, 39 percent said "no," and 4 percent "don’t know." With regard to a female president, 53 percent said they believe most Hoosiers are ready for a female president, compared to 44 percent who said Hoosiers are not ready, and 4 percent who "don’t know."
