ThemeVision trial consultant, Dennis P. Stolle, published “The Evolution of Witness Preparation” in Litigation, which is a quarterly journal published by the American Bar Association. Stolle co-authored the article with William McErlean and Monica Brownewell Smith of Barnes & Thornburg. The article, which was just released in Volume 37 of Litigation, is one of a series of articles in the volume addressing the evolution of various aspects of trial practice. The article describes how "best practices" for witness preparation have changed over the last several decades and how those changes have occurred against the backdrop of technological advancements as well as evolving trial rules and case law.
