Conducted a ThemeTesting® focus group study for a defendant in a product liability action in Lake County, Indiana. The case involved a large fire at a steel mill. The plaintiff alleged that a machinery component manufactured by our client was defective and failed, leading to the failure of a large piece of equipment and the related fire. We assisted the trial team with theme development, case valuation, jury selection strategies, and demonstrative exhibits. Our client prevailed on summary judgment just prior to the scheduled jury trial.
