Conducted a large-sample RDD (Random-Digit Dial) phone survey of adult residents of the federal Southern District of Indiana. The case involved a product liability claim against the manufacturer of a medical device. Our analyses identified statistical correlations among demographic variables, social attitudes, and beliefs with implications for the case. Study findings ultimately were used to provide the trial team with a general sense of case-relevant social attitudes in the community.
