Designed and administered a large-sample mock juror survey of adult residents of a federal district in Ohio. ThemeVision assisted the defense team in a trial involving a public nuisance claim against a large retail corporation. The online survey featured the development and presentation of a written case summary that presented key facts and corresponding arguments for both sides. Analyses revealed links between mock jurors’ demographics, attitudes, and beliefs on one hand and their judgments about the case on the other. The final report provided feedback on the community’s perception of the strength of the defense’s case, the size of a potential damage award, and a statistical profile of the “unfavorable” juror.
